Miami Beachtone Jazz Festival, The dazzling Yamandu Costa is a master of the seven-string classical guitar. By the age of 15, Costa was exploring the popular styles in southern Brazilian music and the folk music of Argentina and Uruguay. His repertoire now not only reflects the influence of musicians such as Brazilian guitarist and composer Baden Powell, but also probes a variety of styles, from choro to bossa nova and tango. Created to enliven the Miami music scene, the Beachtone Jazz Festival delivers one of Florida’s most prestigious events of the year, by combining some of the top Jazz, Latin Jazz and Brazilian artists of our time at the Adrienne Arsht Center for one day.

Grammy award-winning Bossa Nova star Eliane Elias, guitar legend Yamandu Costa, and legendary percussionist Sammy Figueroa will each take the stage and deliver a splendid musical experience, while invigorating South Florida’s rich cultural medley.
